Here is my "to do" list config for Rainmeter, as seen on my twitter post.
You will need the Rainmeter tool from https://www.rainmeter.net

I've tried to make this as simple as I could. Includes 9 tasks which can be dragged between lists or hidden altogether. Click a task will allow you to EDIT the text. Scrolling your mousewheel up and down on each will change the colours, make some less "in your face". Clicking the "Launcher" buttons, 01-09, will show or hide each task.

Once Rainmeter is installed, simply double click on the file.
"Editing" the configs should be easy to understand but if in doubt refer to the Rainmeter documentation on their website, it's very good.
